This was a time constrained project where GMMI Travel insurance needed a site revamp to make it easier for visitors to navigate. Users can file a travel-related claim, add information, track an existing claim, and download important policy-related documents. The site also offers minor medical assistance during travel.
Project duration:
1 Week
My role:Lead, Researcher, Visuals, Interaction
Responsibilities: User research, wireframing, and prototyping,
The home page components are contained in the center of the page, not utilizing the entire screen, creating an odd and unfamiliar visual
The H1 header is not in a accessible size for all readers
The Feedback tab is oddly placed vertically along the left side of the screen
This layout does not make it clear which task is most important for the user
The Home page components were separated and a hierarchy created by importance of the task
The H1 header size was increased
Main Call to Actions were alined across the top of the screen to easily find
Towards the center are the secondary tasks user's can complete at their leisure
On the right side of the screen, are the contact options feedback tab, which is now enhanced in size
The color theme of the company was split to be visually appealing and differentiate between emergency last minute options versus at your leisure/ informational options
